Demand change

When you're stuck in a rut
And you've tried just about everything
When it seems that nothing will change
Demand it!

When you're no longer sure of your worth
And you question "why" too often
Take change by the balls and
Demand it!

The minute you realize you deserve better
Demanding change will be the easiest thing to do

The similarity and yet uniqueness of grief & loss

For someone that has gone thru my fair share of loss and grief, one thing that I believe to be true is that grief is grief and loss is loss. The loss of my cat is no less an emotion than that of your breakup. A loss of a brother is no less than that of a parent or a child. Loss is loss. Let's stop trying to put an amount on pain, it's not a competition! Understand that you can't understand the pain the other person is going through because; we all experience pain and deal with it, in our own way.
